VITAL VITAMINS

There are times when you need Vitamin D3 with a heavier dosage than others. This is why I recommend you get Vitamin D3 without K2, That said, Having both one with and one without, may be the best option for your needs. Best taken before noon with fat.

Extra dosage of Vitamin D3 without K are:

  • When your teeth are painful.
  • Lack of energy due to not enough sunlight.
  • Detox from Chemo therapy.
  • Low calcium.
  • Extra doses of Vitamin D3 are sometimes needed for those with a diagnosed deficiency, conditions affecting absorption, or bone health disorders, but this should only be done under the guidance of a healthcare professional. A severely deficient level (<20 ng/mL) might initially require a temporary, high-dose regimen (e.g., 50,000 IU weekly), but high doses are not meant for long-term use and require monitoring to prevent harmful hypercalcemia (high blood calcium)

Take Vitamin D3 with food or oil containing fat. The fat helps your body absorb the vitamin.

Vitamin K2 is an essential nutrient that plays a crucial role in bone health and blood clotting. However, consuming excessive amounts of vitamin K2 can lead to potential adverse effects.
Symptoms of Vitamin K2 Overdose

  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Abdominal pain
  • Jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes)
  • Liver damage (rare)
  • Risk Factors for Vitamin K2 Overdose, taking high doses of vitamin K2 supplements
Consuming large amounts of foods rich in vitamin K2, such as natto and fermented soybeans
Having certain medical conditions, such as liver disease or kidney disease
Taking anticoagulant medications, such as warfarin (Coumadin)
    Interactions with Other Medications
Vitamin K2 can interact with anticoagulant medications, making them less effective. It is crucial to consult with a healthcare professional before taking vitamin K2 supplements if you are on any blood thinners.
    Recommended Intake
The recommended daily intake of vitamin K2 for adults is 120-200 micrograms. Most people can meet their vitamin K2 needs through a balanced diet.
    Conclusion
While vitamin K2 is an essential nutrient, excessive intake can lead to potential adverse effects. It is important to follow recommended dietary guidelines and consult with a healthcare professional before taking high doses of vitamin K2 supplements.

MAGNESIUM

Oral magnesium supplements

  • Magnesium Citrate: This form is bonded with citric acid and is well-known for its laxative properties, used to relieve occasional constipation. It is also easily absorbed and can help increase overall magnesium levels.
  • Magnesium glycinate (or bisglycinate): This is a highly bioavailable form of magnesium bound to the amino acid glycine. It has a calming effect and is often used to support better sleep, reduce stress, and ease anxiety.
  • Magnesium Oxide: A common, inexpensive form with low bioavailability. It's primarily used as a laxative or to relieve heartburn and indigestion. It is not the most effective option for correcting a magnesium deficiency.
  • Magnesium Malate: This form is bound to malic acid and is often recommended for those with fatigue. It may help with muscle soreness and energy production without a strong laxative effect.
Magnesium L-threonate: A unique form with superior bioavailability for the brain. It is used to support cognitive function, memory, learning, and may help with mood and sleep.
  • Magnesium Taurate: This type combines magnesium with the amino acid taurine and is known for its heart and cardiovascular benefits. It may help regulate blood pressure and blood sugar.
  • Magnesium lactate: A gentle, well-absorbed form that is less likely to cause digestive upset than other types. It is often used as a supplement to correct magnesium deficiencies.
  • Magnesium orotate: This form is chelated with orotic acid and is highly regarded for its potential to improve heart function and athletic performance.
    Topical magnesium and other forms
